Carolyn's ideas about longhouses and wigwams

Hello, this is the PS150 class and we're studying the Eastern Woodland Indians. Yesterday, we saw lots of pictures of longhouses and wigwams. Wigwams start with a frame, it's like the bone and the skin all around you. They layer the bark and if water tries to get in, it can't.

Do you know anything about wigwams?

    Wigwams are shelters for individual families and longhouses hold many, many families.
